Five star reviews
“Dr. Trice has worked as a relief vet for me for over 10 years.”
Dr Trice has worked as a relief vet for me for over 10 years. She brings with her a very thorough set of clinical skills, sound medical judgment, impeccable ethics and a personality that clients and staff can’t get enough of. Her wide range of experience in different states and different types of veterinary practices (including emergency and critical care) really brings a lot to the table that we can all learn from.
“Dr. Trice is a very caring veterinarian… instills a feeling of confidence to me as a pet owner.”
She takes a genuine personal interest in the heath and quality of life of my two male Yorkies. One of my pets, Franky, was injured in an accident earlier this year. Dr. Trice gave Franky her immediate attention on an emergency basis and was very thorough in diagnosing his injury and assuring that nothing was overlooked. I always ask for Dr. Trice to provide Rocky’s and Franky’s annual wellness exams. In addition to being an outstanding veterinarian, Dr. Trice is a very personable individual who listens very carefully, responds thoroughly to questions, and instills a feeling of confidence to me as a pet owner that she truly cares about my “boys.”
“The Doc, Cindy Trice, was very knowledgeable, compassionate, and really helped our 15-year-old Chihuahua.”
Great experience! She treated our dog in a very caring way, as he was her own. We wish she could be our primary vet. We are very satisfied with the [practice] and are happy that we choose them for our dog’s emergency care. Thank you!
“Dr.Trice took very good care of my 11 year old dog. Can’t say enough good things.”
Ends up he has Evans syndrome. Dr. Trice and staff are great. Talked me through every test and procedure before doing them and let me make the decision. Can’t say enough good things about them.
Relief Rover
the company i founded to elevate our profession
I started Relief Rover (www.reliefrover.com) in 2017 to match top practices with enthusiastic relief veterinarians. We now have almost 3,000 veterinarians from across the country and even from other parts of the world.
The vision at Relief Rover is all about community and connection. We connect veterinary practices with relief vets, relief vets to each other to share tips and tricks, and relief vets to resources and service providers that can help them elevate their practice.
Relief Rover helps practices find the right relief vets. We find deep satisfaction in working relief shifts so that our colleagues can take hard earned breaks, and the practices that they hold dear can continue to flourish while they’re away.

AVMA's My Veterinary Life: Living Large Through Relief Work

STILL CURIOUS?
Here are some fun facts
I crave adventure, progress and above all, the feeling that I’ve uplifted others.
MY FAVORITE PARTS OF VETERINARY MEDICINE ARE:
dentistry and client communication. I completed an intensive course in dentistry at the NAVC Institute, and I’m constantly honing my communication skills.
I CO-AUTHORED A BOOK ABOUT:
the relief niche. It’s called “FlexVet: How to Be One, How to Hire One.” If you’re looking to do either, it’s a helpful guide. Check it out on Amazon.
MY FAVORITE HOBBY IS:
collecting countries. I’ve seen 34 so far and plan to visit many more in my lifetime.
I SPEND MY WEEKENDS:
hustling, of course! In my “free” time, I cook, paddle board, and plan trips.
I COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT:
my husband and our adorable dogs. Eddie is a Shih Tzu, Poodle, Manchester Terrier mix (but you’d never guess). Richie is a Chihuahua, Dachshund, Blue Tick Coonhound mix (and that’s exactly what he looks like).
